OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM
Doug Holton
President

Doug’s involvement in the real estate industry began in 1987 in the Bay Area as an in-house regional manager for an investment group. He was then drawn to relocate to Fresno by a supervising Property Manager position at Pearson Realty. Additional experiences including commercial property sales and leasing, banking, and SBA lending provided knowledge he can apply to the business of managing for investment clients. It has also allowed Doug to create many friendships and associates within the local industry that he still enjoys and values today.

In 2007 Doug was asked to join Dave Siegel, with whom he had done business for several years, as a partner in the business that Dave had begun and grown into a significant provider of property management services. As Dave has transitioned into retirement, Doug is fully involved in all administrative and operational aspects of Siegel & Co.

After receiving his Business Management degree from Santa Clara University, Doug has established roots in Fresno and loves to visit his son and daughter who have settled in Washington.


Mindy Gaither
Vice President of Operations

Mindy Gaither has been the Director of Residential Management at Siegel & Co. since 2012 and has more than 18 years of experience in the property management industry after managing retail businesses for more than fifteen years. She specializes in the multifamily industry – overseeing multiple assets, client relations, human resources, staff development, rehabs including Section 8 and troubled properties, business development, and financial/budget forecasting.

Mindy is a long-time active member of the Greater Fresno California Apartment Association (CAA), a statewide organization that promotes ethical practices and professionalism in the industry and serves as an advocate for its members in dealing with State agencies. She was awarded the CAA’s Mark of Distinction’s Supervisor of the Year in 2016.

Mindy’s clients, staff, and residents know that she will do what it takes to get the job done, including managing improvements, lease renewals, and handling special circumstances. Mindy loves helping others, showing them how to be successful with both short and long-term goals. She treasures her family time with her husband and three children. Mindy hopes she passes her passion of helping others and striving to be a better person and achieve goals on to her kids.


Kelly Garrison
Commercial Property Manager

Kelly Garrison is a Fresno native with Property Management running in her veins thanks to her mother’s own career. After graduating from law school and working as an attorney, Kelly decided to pursue an alternate path and found a career and her roots in property management. For the last 15 years Kelly’s management experience includes work with an institutional REIT, a regional owner of retail centers, and a local owner/developer managing retail centers, commercial office buildings, and historic downtown high-rises. Starting in 2020 Siegel & Co. has been especially lucky to have Kelly’s extensive background with the Yardi Voyager system and her mentorship attitude.

Another Siegel & Co. dog lover, Kelly sneaks away from her four-legged family most weekends to Central Valley golf courses to spend time with friends chasing a little white ball around the course.

 


Taylor Hernandez
Commercial Property Manager

Taylor is one of Siegel and Co’s experienced Commercial Property Managers with over 15 years in the industry. She started in real estate in the Bay Area and relocated to the Central Valley 12 years ago. After beginning in an administrative position, she quickly worked her way up to an Assistant and then achieved her goal of becoming a licensed Property Manager. She has handled all of the management operations for commercial, single family, and multi-family properties. She also has experience in real estate sales, leasing, rehabs, and marketing. She prides herself on achieving the goals and objectives of her clients and is proficient in tenant/landlord relations.

Taylor previously worked for Siegel & Co. and after gaining from other experiences we all decided she should come back to our team in February 2017. She has four children whom she adores and strives to make sure they achieve and accomplish all that they can to be successful.


Katelyn Sawl
Commercial Property Manager

Katelyn started her professional career as a project manager for an emergency solutions company and later transitioned into property management. She began her career in real estate as a property manager for a private investment firm where she managed commercial and residential assets. She performed many duties including administrative, sales, acquisitions, and asset renovations. With the desire to expand her portfolio and grow her career, she joined Siegel & Co. as a Property Manager in March 2019. Katelyn takes pride in building long-term business relationships with both her clients and tenants. With tenacity and dedication, Katelyn is committed to getting the job done.

Katelyn belongs to several professional real estate associations, including the National Realtors Association (NAR), CAR, and FAR. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, kayaking, and spending time with loved ones (including her “fur babies”).


Jeanette Rodgers 
Commercial Property Manager

Jeanette Rodgers began her work in real estate in 2000 and joined Siegel & Co in 2021 as a Commercial Property Manager. She started her career as a leasing agent, then as a Property Supervisor in the corporate world in Fresno in 2012. There she worked directly with various owners and site staff to provide the best customer service. Jeanette has experience with multi-family residential properties, HOA’s, single-family homes and commercial buildings. She strives to develop long-term relationships with clients and tenants and ensure both receive friendly, timely, and professional services.

Jeanette values her time with her family and takes family trips whenever possible. She especially enjoys getaways to the beach and attending festivals.


Debra Cruz 
Residential Property Manager

Debra began her career in property management in 2002 as a Property Manager for Family Investments and has since served in all aspects of Residential Multi-Family Management. She has worked directly with owners and hired site staff to provide the best customer service. Debra enjoys adding to her experience in multi-family residential by creating long-term client and tenant relationships. Vendor management is also crucial to a property’s success, and therefore her success. She enjoys training and being trained in new facets of property management and recognizes that there is always more to learn. She makes a point to “inspect what she expects”, ensuring clients and tenants receive the services they deserve. A task well done is truly important to her.

Debra is family focused and enjoys time away with her family and friends.


Dave Siegel, Founder of Siegel & Co., and our other Partner Roxean DeFendis, have earned the right to have reduced roles in the day-to-day operations of the company from the comfort of the Central California coast.  The internet provides them plenty of opportunity to monitor the cloud-based accounting and management system we use for all the properties.
